Congratulations from across the University for Prof Sarah Spurgeon and Jenny Rafferty, both of whom were included in the New Year Honours List.
Professor Spurgeon, who is Head of Kent’s School of Engineering and Digital Arts, was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to engineering.
Jenny Rafferty, Research Accounts Manager with Research Services, was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to Higher Education.
