The 2015 Guardian table is based on criteria that include teaching quality, student course satisfaction, staff-student ratio and the percentage of graduates who find graduate-level jobs, or are studying further, within six months of graduation.
Recently, Kent placed in the top 10 for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey and was ranked 22nd in the Complete University Guide 2015.
Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kent, said: ‘This is an excellent result for Kent. It is also further recognition for all our staff as they continue to provide our students with one of the best academic experiences in the UK.
‘Our league table position remains a reflection of our ability to attract high calibre students and to provide them with the appropriate skills for their future careers.’
