Owen is the Senior Tutor for SMSAS. In that role Owen chairs Academic Misconduct Panels for SMSAS and also serves on the Mitigation Committee. Owen is the Divisional representative on the Joint Committee of Council and Senate on Academic Freedom & Freedom of Expression.
Owen teaches in areas of probability, statistics and data science.
